Welcome to the Woodside and Thornton Heath Swimming Club website. On this site, you can find out about us, how to become a member and a bit of history about us. For current members, fixtures and training times are posted. Take a look around, and, of course, get in touch if there's anything you would like to know!
The Club has members from learners to advanced with the emphasis on stroke teaching, with some stamina work included when swimmers are competent. The Learners section will accept children from 5 years upwards. The competition section offers training sessions for juniors and seniors aged from 9 to 21 approximately.
Squads train 2 - 4 nights per week depending on ability and swimmers are entered for Borough and County Championships. The club team competes in local inter-club competitions and swimming leagues.

New FINA Costume Rules
6th December 2009All parents/swimmers should take note of the advice below relating to swimsuits for swimming.
From January 1, 2010 swimwear for men shall not extend above the navel nor below the knee, and for women, shall not cover the neck, extend past the shoulder, nor shall extend below knee.
All swimsuits shall be made from textile materials.

13th August 2009We became aware of an error with the Club contact form on this website. It was not sending the message to the Secretary correctly, despite showing "Message Send OK".

Changes To Swim Times At South Norwood
23rd August 2008From Friday 12th September we are starting earlier at South Norwood on a FRIDAY only. The NEW times will be:
